Anthropologists and forensic scientists got together this afternoon at the Barnum Museum in Bridgeport to examine some parts of the collection.
They took a look at a bust of P.T. Barnum using an X-ray machine. It revealed there is a crack inside the nose that curators are going to figure out how to repair.
They also looked at a "Fiji Mermaid." They are usually made from stitching a monkey or primate top to a fish bottom.
