A Greenwich hair salon is offering discounted haircuts to not only make clients feel beautiful, but to help community members in need.
In an effort to benefit local residents, Becker Chicaiza charges less for his haircuts and donates every penny to the local charity Kids in Crisis.
Chicaiza is the owner of Becker Salon on Mason Street and the man behind the idea of offering $30 haircuts. He believes his clients deserve to be pampered despite the drooping economy and mounting pressure to save money. According to Chicaiza, his clients say they look and feel their best knowing the proceeds from their primping sessions are going toward a good cause.
?I want to work hard, and I want to help people that really need it,? Chicaiza says.
The $30 haircuts will be available until the end of the year.
