A bill that would allow Connecticut residents to buy their alcohol from a machine is getting a second chance.
Legislation for the alcoholic beverage machines was overwhelmingly approved in Connecticut's House of Representatives Tuesday.
The bill will now move to the Senate, where it failed to pass last year.
The proposed law would allow people to buy a glass of wine, beer or hard cider at a bar from an automated machine.
The alcoholic beverage machines would provide limits to how many drinks a person could get at a time.
