Bloomberg: Amazon cuts Whole Foods prices on day one
Amazon officially owns Whole Foods, and promised to cut prices on day one.
Bloomberg did a little cost comparison and found prices are indeed lower on some items, compared to last week.
Organic Fuji Apples per pound are now 43-percent cheaper.
Whole Trade Bananas are 38-percent cheaper.
Responsibly farmed Salmon and Tilapia fell to 33-percent cheaper.
85-percent lean ground beef fell to 29-percent cheaper, as well as organic avocados.
