Search and rescue teams have found the body of a missing mountain biker in Danbury.
Police say the man was reported missing around 10:30 p.m., after yesterday's thunderstorms.
Crews had been looking for the man in Farrington Woods, a heavily wooded park along the New York border,  on the west side of the city.
They found the body this morning just after 11 a.m. about three-quarters of a mile from the park entrance.
Fire officials say they were able to use a cellphone signal to find the victim.
Officials also say the victim was an experienced cyclist who often rode his bike in the area. They have not released his name, but say he was in his 50s and from the Danbury area.
Since the cyclist never used his phone to call for help, authorities suspect that he may have suffered a sudden medical emergency. They do not think the death is suspicious.
Investigators and the medical examiner are working to figure out a cause of death.
