City officials say that car break-ins at the Bridgeport ferry terminal have been on the rise in the past six months.
The Bridgeport Port Authority says that it is not responsible for overnight parkers or the valuables in their cars.
?If we have to extend our jurisdiction or urge the city and the police department to come up with a better plan then we're going to do that,? says Joe Riccio, of the Bridgeport Port Authority.
Riccio went on to say that the problem may be solved by paid parking.
