Local housing authority Park City Communities has just begun construction on a new affordable housing project on Hanover Street.
"We are so proud that we are going to be able to house 9 families in long-term affordable housing," said Jillian Baldwin of Park City Communities.
"We made a commitment in all sectors to encourage and see through the continuation and creation of new affordable housing, public housing in the City of Bridgeport, until we meet the need," said Bridgeport Mayor Joe Ganim.
