North East Building Supply, Wade's Dairy & Helping Hands Outreach, Flava's Restaurant and the group Bridging the Gap are sponsoring the event.
Organizers say the public is invited to pick up food bags on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 1450 Barnum Ave. in Bridgeport.
