Waterbury police have arrested 32-year-old Thomas Abbatiello of Thomaston in a sexual assault investigation involving a minor female.
Police say Abbatiello was identified as the suspect during an investigation that began in May.
They say the incidents occurred at the victim's residence in Waterbury
Officers say Abbatiello is facing numerous charges, including kidnapping, illegal sexual contact and importing child sexual abuse material.
Abbatiello is being held on a $1,000,000 bond pending his arraignment.
