A kitten and cat adoption event was held in Fairfield today.
Bridgeport Cat Rescue hosted the event at Choice Pet Supply.
Organizers say they collect abandoned cats and kittens, vaccinate them and then find them homes.
They say about 12 cats and kittens were adopted today.
