The city of Bridgeport is continuing its efforts to get guns off the streets.

The city's largest gun buyback program is set to resume Friday and Saturday.

Other buyback dates are planned for every Saturday in January, as needed.

Police will offer up to $200 for a working handgun and $75 for a working rifle.

Assault-type rifles will be eligible for higher amounts.
