Bridgeport officials honored three firefighters for saving an elderly woman trapped in a burning house.
Mayor Bill Finch and the city council honored Bobby Hernandez, Richard Messer and Lt. Neil Carr last evening.
They rescued a 93-year-old woman from a fire on Bennett Street last month.
Hernandez, Messer and Carr each received a citation from the mayor for their part in the rescue.
