A fire tore through a home in Bridgeport Sunday night leaving multiple people displaced.
The fire occurred on Merchant Street around 6 p.m.
Fire officials say the blaze appears to have started in the back of the home and then spread to the second and third floors.
Officials say that everyone was able to get out safely and no one was hurt.
