Shelton police say they arrested a 44-year-old Bridgeport man who stole guns and jewelry from homes in the city.
Police say Walter Gonzalez broke into homes on Lady Slipper Drive and Isinglass Road in November.
Investigators say in one of the burglaries, a safe containing 12 guns and $100,000 in jewelry was taken.
Police say that while searching his home, they also found evidence linking Gonzalez to several other burglaries in the area.
