A man from Bridgeport is hoping to reunite old photos found in his attic with the family who took them.
Angel Colon, 33, was going through his attic in preparation for a move with his family to a new home when he came across something he had never seen before -- a box full of photos from the 1920's.
Colon figures the photos were probably left in the house in the Hollow section of Bridgeport by a previous owner.
He came up with the idea to reach out to the public on Valentine's Day in an effort to reunite the photos with the family they came from.
"With the media, the news, we could be able to find who they belong to and close the gap, close the gap between the past and the present,” says Colon.
Colon says the photos show somebody in the family was associated with the Yale School of Medicine. Colon says by taking all of the clues and putting them on blast, he hopes to track down the family who inspired the love letter to the past.
"They don't know these pictures exist, this will definitely bring back tears of joy,” says Colon. "I think we're doing great right now."
