A Bridgeport man remains in critical condition this evening after being shot in the head yesterday afternoon. Police say Ralph Stancil was found lying on the floor of his home at 505 Park St. Neighbor Dorrie Raymon, who lives above the apartment, says the victim's 10-year-old son ran upstairs to inform her that his father had been shot. She immediately called 911 and says paramedics arrived to take him to Bridgeport Hospital. Authorities say the boy, who had just moved to Bridgeport with his father from Florida, has been taken into custody. Witnesses also tell News 12 Connecticut that they noticed someone running from the house after the shooting. Anyone with information on the shooting is urged to call Bridgeport police at 203-576-7671.
