A Bridgeport man is plowing and shoveling for the community, while also giving back to kids in need.
Michel Martinez uses his true and blow for major snowstorms, like 2013’s storm that brought 30 inches to parts of Connecticut.
Martinez says he is looking forward to the snow and will be out plowing people’s driveways and shoveling sidewalks.
He says he does all of this to help children in need.
“Kids may not understand what’s going on with the cold, but they do understand they expect a small gift for Christmas, and I want to make sure that gift is there for them.” said Martinez. “So, all the proceeds that I collect from plowing today and tomorrow will go back to buying gifts for the community and for the kids in the shelters in the local community.”
Martinez says he will be out when the first snowflake falls and continue all night and into Thursday.
