Bridgeport Mayor Ganim eliminates permit fees to extend outdoor seating for restaurants in the city

Bridgeport Mayor Joe Ganim is helping local restaurant owners as Connecticut has lifted restrictions on the number of people allowed to eat indoors.

Bridgeport Mayor Joe Ganim is helping local restaurant owners as Connecticut has lifted restrictions on the number of people allowed to eat indoors.
The city is eliminating a fee that restaurant normally have to pay.
Ganim is also extending outdoor permits that were retained in 2020.
“It’s with pleasure that the city of Bridgeport announces we will eliminate any permit fees to extend the outdoor idning to restaurants throughout the city,” Ganim says. “And keep that going as a way to improve the leisure and enjoyment that we see now with COVID hopefully getting the rearview mirror very soon.”
