Tina Hall-McClain, of Bridgeport, is turning her personal heartbreak into a mission to save lives following the tragic discovery of her son's body at Beardsley Park over the weekend.
"Bunnell's Pond was always a place of peace for my son," she said. "I am at peace now knowing that he was found here, in a place that he loved."
Police have identified the deceased as 38-year-old Stephen Hall, of Bridgeport.
Two local fishermen discovered his body on Sunday in Bunnell's Pond, an area his mother described as his favorite place of peace.
