Bridgeport
officials are calling for the owner of an apartment building to be held
accountable for what they say are "very dangerous conditions."
Residents
at 1465 East Main Street shared what they called "horror stories"
about the effects of water damage in the complex.
They
say several people have been forced into hotels due to collapsing ceilings and
major water leaks, while others have ended up homeless.
Officials surveyed the
property Sunday and pledged to follow up with the owner and the Health Department.
