Bridgeport police say two people were wounded during a shooting at the City Bar on Fairfield Avenue.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.

Both victims were taken to hospitals and are in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police tell News 12 they requested mutual aid from five neighboring departments along with state police to assist with the incident. It wasn't immediately clear why the agencies were called in.

Police say the incident is an active investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call Bridgeport Police at 203-576-TIPS.
