A senior living facility in Bridgeport is offering many free services to keep people happy and healthy.
According to the Hall Neighborhood House's website, services like preventative health education, field trips, arts and crafts, and intergenerational art education are offered to those who are age 60 or older.
Evelyn Wiggins has been driving to the facility every day for years. Wiggins says she found a cure for her loneliness in the meaningful connections she's made at the Hall Neighborhood House.
"My husband died in 2001 and so I'm very lonely," she says. "It gives me something to do and I love the excitement and fun."
Sacred Heart University also provides free health checkups for those at the facility each Wednesday.
