Bridgeport to get new park with waterway access
Sliver by the River, located at 5 Stratford Ave. will be a 3.65-acre park that will feature a kayak launch, a floating dock, nature playground, and multiuse open lawn.

Sliver by the River, located at 5 Stratford Ave. behind the Bridgeport Transit Center, will be a 3.65-acre park that will feature a kayak launch, a floating dock, nature playground, and multiuse open lawn.
State lawmakers visited the nonprofit Trust for Public Land in Bridgeport to unveil plans for the city Wednesday.
Trust for Public Land is partnering with the city to create the 20-mile waterfront pathway and park along Bridgeport's shoreline.
