A used car dealer in Bridgeport has closed its doors for good, citing financial hardships.
Mimi Dragone Incorporated, on Fairfield Avenue, was started by owner Carman Dragone's grandfather back in 1969.
Dragone says the dealership had an issue with an employee stealing from them last year and that they have been unable to bounce back from it. He says closing the dealership was a tough decision.
The Bridgeport Rescue Mission says Dragone always donated food to them each Thanksgiving and that losing a supporter of the community is hard.
Dragone says he sent the remaining cars on the lot to auction last Friday. He says he will stay open for at least another two weeks to deal with any warranty issues and recent car sales.
