Bridgeport woman remembered for contributions to community
A vigil is taking place today for a beloved Bridgeport woman who died suddenly earlier this week.
Pamela D. Adams, 48, had battled cancer and won, only to lose that battle suddenly and unexpectedly.
State and local leaders are joining Adams’ family for a vigil to showcase her many contributions to the community.
Sen. Richard Blumenthal says Adams, who was an employee of the Bridgeport Military Academy, was "a tireless champion for the rights of the underprivileged and underserved, somebody whose gentle activism left an indelible mark on the city of Bridgeport and the state of Connecticut."
