A Bridgeport woman acted like Santa's helper Thursday and gave back to children with special needs.
Isabell Richardson, who lost her son with special needs in 2008, decided to honor his memory by helping others with similar challenges.
With a porch full of donated and new toys, Richardson packed up her sleigh and drove door-to-door delivering holiday cheer to families with special needs children.

Richardson says the mayor's office and other local organizations helped with the toy drive and donations.
She says she plans to spend Christmas with a toy drive every year from now on.
