News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Hope Osemwenkhae says it will be a bright, brisk and blustery Tuesday for Long Island.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- No advisories at this time.
- It will a be very cold overnight with a few passing clouds. Lows in the 20s and 30s.
- A January chill settles in for the first full week of the year with highs in the 40s and lows in the 20s and 30s.
- Snow showers arrive between Thursday morning and midday. Slick and wet roads are expected. It's not expected to accumulate to anything.
