Lonny Cross, a resident of Bristol, has pleaded guilty to more than 37 robberies, some of which were armed, across Connecticut in September and October of 2022.
According to police reports, Cross targeted various small businesses, including gas stations and convenience stores, during his crime spree.
In several instances, Cross committed multiple robberies on the same day, some just minutes apart. He would allegedly use a knife or a fake gun to threaten employees during these incidents.
Upon searching Cross' residence, law enforcement officials discovered 120 bags of heroin, 14 grams of crack cocaine, and clothing worn during several of the robberies.
Cross is scheduled for sentencing on Aug. 21.
