The Earl Monroe New Renaissance Basketball School’s boys basketball team spent the last week in China on a trip that included culture, new experiences and basketball. 

The team brought home the gold in a tournament against teams from across the globe. They celebrated their victory on Wednesday.  

Student athletes and coaches said their experience going there, along with the 15-hour flight, was more than worth it, as they learned a lot both on and off the court.
