For many, Labor Day means barbecuing and enjoying the end of summer.
Bronx resident Amanda Corbette is honoring the birthday of her brother who died several years ago.
Other residents say Labor Day means having quality family time.
Some families visited Crotona Park as early as 5:30 a.m. to make sure they could reserve an area big enough to fit their families to celebrate the day.
