According to an article in the latest edition of Business Week, southwestern Connecticut could feel the impact of the economic crisis more severely that other regions in the United States.
The magazine cites Darien as the town that could be hit the hardest. Business Week says it ranked the communities with the largest percentage of residents working in finance, real estate, insurance and leasing. The magazine says approximately 27 percent of residents work in those fields.
Other Connecticut towns in the top 10 list included Westport and Wethersfield.
