An event in Fairfield is combining the best of both worlds Saturday with haircuts and a car show.

Two businesses, Kennedy's Barber Club and Spa and Black Horse Garage, partnered together for the Cars and Cuts event to create a safe way to get pampered and out of the house.

The businesses encouraged exotic car lovers to come to the event.

The owners of the barber shop say it's nice to have an event outside that inspires people to come inside to check out their business after a tough few months last spring.

Kennedy's Barber Club and Spa, which used to be a male-only spa, has expanded to women's services during the pandemic to attract more business.
