Cats removed from hoarding situation in Winsted will eventually be put up for adoption

Officials say the more than 150 cats that were removed from a local home have been placed with local animal rescue groups.

Officials say the more than 150 cats that were removed from a local home have been placed with local animal rescue groups.
Winchester Town Manager Josh Kelly says the groups will be responsible for putting the cats up for adoption.
The town is still accepting donations to help pay for food and veterinary care for the cats.
Below is a list of the shelters responsible for putting the cats up for adoption:
