After weeks of mourning, family and friends held a ceremony Sunday to celebrate the lives of the four victims who drowned after their minivan plunged into Bridgeport's Bunnell's Pond.
Michelle McIntosh, 39, her 2-year-old son David, 6-year-old nephew Jayden Wilson and 3-year-old family friend Julia Boyd died in the accident.
Many gathered for the ?celebration of life? ceremony at the scene of the accident to pray and hear music and poetry dedicated to the lives lost.
Bridgeport Mayor John Fabrizi and clergy members attended as well. Family and friends shared memories of the deceased. Many said they still wonder how accident could have happened.
