Charges have been dropped against a Ridgefield town employee caught on video striking a man with a folder, First Selectman Rudy Marconi says.
Patricia Pacheco, an accounting employee for the town, had been placed on leave and charged with disorderly conduct after a YouTuber recorded her striking him with a folder while filming her at Town Hall.
Pacheco struck the man from the YouTube activist channel Accountability For All as he and another man were conducting a "First Amendment Audit" at Ridgefield Town Hall when he refused to stop recording her in her office.
Marconi says Pacheco has also returned to her work.
