A 21-year-old man was charged Friday in connection with the hit-and-run death of a Wilton man in early July.

Police say Gregory Dionisio was heading north on Ridgefield Road when his car crossed the center line and hit a man on a motorcycle on July 5. Thomas Fleming, 50, died shortly after the accident at Norwalk Hospital.

Police say Dionisio was also sent to the hospital, which was how they learned he was under the influence of drugs and alcohol at the time of the crash.

Dionisio posted $50,000 bond and is due in court Sept. 8.
