Chef Pinky Kaur, of Saffron Indian Cuisine, shows Tina Redwine how to make traditional Indian yogurt.
Raita
Take a cup of all natural yogurt.
Hand blend it until smooth.
Add salt to taste, roasted cumin, red chili powder (optional).
You could also use black salt powder, which is also known as red Himalyan salt for some extra flavor if you like.
Add about a quarter cup each of finely chopped onion, cucumber and potatoes.
