State police are asking parents to warn their children about the danger of strangers after a girl escaped an attempted abduction last week in New Britain.
Police say an 11-year-old girl was walking to her summer camp when she was approached by an older man, who pulled up in a gray van. The entire incident was caught on surveillance video.
The girl ran away and reported the incident to her mother.
