Children in Fairfield are returning to dance studios and karate dojos with a few new precautions to keep everyone healthy and safe.

Dojo Fairfield is offering martial art classes for children as young as 4 years old.  Classes are limited to 12 children at a time with social distancing protocols.

Instructors say their students have been good about following the new rules. They say smaller class sizes also means more one-on-one attention.

Double Up Dance Studio was ready to open its new location right when the coronavirus hit. 

The dance studio will resume youth classes Monday, July 27 with safety measures in place. 

Fairfield Dojo and Double Up say they are still offering some classes online for those who are not comfortable going to the studio.
