FORECAST:
This week marks a noticeable shift in our weather pattern. While summer isn’t officially over, there’s a definite “back-to-school” feel in the air.
Expect plenty of sunshine in the days ahead, but that also means limited chances for rain. With lower humidity levels, temperatures will feel cooler especially during the overnight hours.
Fire safety is a concern this week. Dry conditions combined with breezy afternoons increase the risk of fire spread, so please use caution with open flames or anything that could spark outdoors.
Looking ahead to Friday, rain chances begin to increase, with the potential for some showers early in the day. Temperatures will remain slightly below average, with highs in the 70s.
And for your Labor Day weekend preview: conditions are looking fantastic sunny, dry, and comfortably cool. A perfect stretch to enjoy the outdoors.
