The doors of Christ Episcopal Church were opened Sunday to some of the parishioners? more important friends ? their pets.
The service, held in honor of the Feast of St. Francis, was called the blessing of the pets. Church-goers brought dogs, cats, fish and other animals to the blessing.
One pet was even given a special title by the priest. Joan Chase?s dog, Marolee, is his ?wiggliest parishioner.?
