Southwestern Connecticut residents continued to dig out Tuesday from the snowstorm that blanketed the region a day earlier.

Leftover snow, slush and ice made conditions dangerous on sidewalks and roads. Norwalk?s Department of Public Works superintendent says keeping cars off the road, digging out mailboxes and avoiding shoveling snow onto the roads are some easy ways to help the city?s cleanup process.

It has been estimated that the winter storm cleanup cost will be a six-figure dollar amount.
