Former Stamford postal worker pleads guilty to mail thefts
A former Stamford postal worker has pleaded guilty to stealing checks from the Camp Avenue post office.
Kierra Blount admitted to stealing checks, changing the names on them and depositing them into an account opened with a stolen identity.
Prosecutors say she deposited $156,000 into the account. Investigators also found another $285,000 in checks when they searched her home in 2023.
Blount is set to be sentenced in December.
