Stamford police are investigating an altercation between a nightclub owner and an officer in the club?s parking lot Thursday.

Police say Brenda Mazariegos was trying to park in a restricted area and was driving without a license. Mazariegos, who admits to grabbing Officer Gregory Zach, says Zach then pushed her friends and punched her.

Mazariegos was arrested on charges including assault on a police officer and interfering with police. She is due in court July 10.
