The Coast Guard said today that the woman reported missing while swimming at a beach in West Haven Sunday is safe.
They said the woman was reported missing near Dawson Avenue Beach after someone said they saw her "go under."
The Coast Guard said it turns out that the woman left the water without anyone seeing her and was safe the whole time.
It called off the search last night.
