Connecticut lawmakers face a midnight deadline to complete their work for the year, though many of the major bills have already been passed.
Lawmakers have been busy the past couple of days passing a revised budget, an education reform bill and the legalization of medical marijuana.
A couple of remaining issues to be acted upon include a bill imposing standards on utility companies for service following storms, and one requiring most homes to have smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
