Connecticut has added more states to its list of quarantine-restricted states, bringing the
total to 16 -- as the rate of new COVID-19 infections across the U.S. rises.

The quarantine order asks travelers from hotspots to self-isolate for 14 days.
The order now covers Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nevada, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Utah.
The order was initially announced last week in a joint effort by Gov. Phil Murphy, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont.
