Connecticut schools rank second best in nation, according to WalletHub

Connecticut's school system has once again earned high marks, ranking second in the nation according to a new report released by personal finance website WalletHub.
The report, which evaluated 32 key measures of quality and safety, placed Connecticut behind only Massachusetts.
WalletHub's analysis included factors such as pupil-teacher ratio, dropout rate, and median standardized-test scores. Maryland and New Jersey followed closely behind Connecticut in the rankings.
New Mexico was the lowest rated state followed by Oklahoma, Arizona, and Alaska.
