The polls have now closed across the state as voters helped to decide a number of races, including the GOP candidate for governor.
The Republican chose Tom Foley who beat out John McKinney for the nomination. He will face Gov. Dan Malloy this November.
In other races, Bridgeport officials say State Rep. Christina Ayala has lost her primary to Chris Rosario
Norwalk state Reps. Chris Perone and Bruce Morris won their primaries.
