The mother of slain Bronx teen Ramarley Graham is speaking out about police-community relations following the officer-involved death of a Staten Island man.
Constance Malcolm says that Eric Garner's death may not have happened if there had been disciplinary actions taken against the officer who killed her son because it could have sent a message to cops that improper treatment of civilians won't be tolerated.
Graham was unarmed when he was shot in his home back in Feb. 2012.
Malcolm is now working toward getting a federal investigation into her son's case.
